At 7 am around, Jan. 5, 2015, the NO. 301 bus, owned by YINCHUN Bus company, burst into fire abruptly when travelling, which caused 17 persons dead and 32 persons injured.

In the afternoon, Jan. 5, 2015, it was found this bus‘ s DVR has been equipped with OUR crash survivable memory unit (CSMU). Our company dispatched engineers to be at site and started data recovery work at YINCHUAN Public Security Departments in the morning of Jan. 6, 2015.

The data stored in the memory were well protected. The data were exported from the memory unit and after analysis it is confirmed that this was an arson made by human. The criminal was caught in the evening of Jan. 6, and the whole process of committing the crime was recovered. Our company’s CSUM provided strong evidence in cracking this case.
